Probably one of my favorite casual kid shots to date. This shot was taken as Rory was scrambling to get down from a rocking chair. The chair was in a corner of a room with windows on each wall. I love the way the light reflects off both the front and back of her face and how it illuminates her fine hair. I love her delicate hand resting on and under the afghan that was draped over the back of the chair. I like how the crisp focus on her eye and the soft focus of her lip almost make her look like a porcelain doll. This has been one of the few images that I absolutely loved how it looked on one of Epson's matte paper.
